Freya Aswynn has been teaching & lecturing on the magical use of
Runes since 1982
in the UK, the Netherlands and the USA.
In the 1980s-90s she ran the Asatrú Folk
Runic Workshop sessions from her home at Enclave X in London. She also ran The
Rune-Gild UK at this time and became an Elder in the American-based Ring of
Troth, a position she still holds. After she moved out of London she set up the
on-line Runic Correspondence Course which is still running successfully.
Freya
has written many books & articles on both Runes & Asatrú, principally "Leaves of
Yggdrasil", later re-written & updated as "Northern Mysteries & Magic", and
"Power & Principles of the Runes".
She has made several recordings on her own, and
with Dave Tibet and others, the best known being the "Songs of Yggdrasil"
CD. She has appeared on television, radio and on-line interviews in the UK and the USA.
Freya will be presenting workshops on rune divination and on rune
magic.
The 2 day workshop will be held at the Scout Annexe, Church House, Church End, Hendon,
London NW4 4JT on Saturday/Sunday 19/20
April 2008.
The venue is easily accessible from the M1 and A41, Hendon Rail station and
Hendon Central Underground Station by walking or using local buses.
Cost £60 per person for the 2-day event.
